Myers Briggs Personality Types

Have you ever heard of Myers Briggs personality types? No? Well Kindred Grace has a helpful overview of what the letters stand for, and links to find out more... They do a better job at explaining than I would, so go there first if you need an explanation. ;) I'll just throw helpful links at you.

First things first -- find your personality type. Here is a free online test with 60 questions where you gauge how you react to certain situations and think about certain things. (For example, question 41 says "Keeping your options open is more important than having a to-do list." You then can slide the bar to "Completely agree" or "Completely disagree" or somewhere in between.)

Once you know your type there is a ton of information available for you to read. You can explore jobs your type may gravitate toside by side differences between your type and others, some of your reactions to being stressed, some stress triggers , and many online articles that go farther in depth. There are even different pictures and stuff  on Pinterestbooks you can read, and many other resources to learn more.

God has made us each so different, and people almost never fit perfectly with all that's written about their personality types, but I've found this tool very helpful over the last few years. I've done tests like these with my friends and family, and it's always neat to learn something new about how they view themselves and the world around them. I've also learned things about myself, such as aspects I need to work on that I didn't realize as much before.

What about you? Do you know what your type is? What do you think about personality typing? Is there another system you'd recommend?

I hope you found this helpful!

  1. *grins* I have a good idea as to what type I am without taking an online test. Personally, I've never been a great fan of personality typing, but it is interesting to play with, I suppose.

    1. *Grins back* I've always been a big face of personality typing, but then, that's just me. ;)

      Thanks for the comment. :D

    2. XD. Nothing wrong with that. It's just to me, an online test can never capture the true essence God has given a person. :)

      Your welcome. :)

    3. *Nods* And I would agree with you. :) We can never fully capture the essence of human personality God has gifted us with. Yet, it is a neat thing to explore and study.
